Publifye AS is a Norwegian company, and the General Data Protection Regulation applies to the personal data we hold. This page explains how to have that data deleted, and what happens after you ask.
We act on a deletion request when we can tell it comes from the person the data belongs to. So the request is made from a signed-in account: sign in to the Publifye service the data belongs to, and send your request from there.
An emailed request cannot prove who is asking, and acting on one could delete somebody else's data on the word of whoever sent the mail. Signing in settles that.
Our services share one Publifye account, which you sign in to here:
What the software does not do yet: there is no button in the account area that deletes your data by itself, and no automated deletion endpoint. We would rather say that plainly than describe a control that does not exist. Until there is one, sign in to your account and write to support@publifye.com from the email address that account is registered under, naming the service. Being signed in, and writing from the registered address, is what lets us match the request to the record. A person at Publifye handles it from there.
Tell us which of these you want, the email address the account is registered under, and which service or Facebook Page it concerns. That is everything we need to find the record.
We action deletion requests within 30 days of receiving them, in line with the one-month response period the GDPR sets. If a request is going to take longer than that, we will tell you why before the month is out.
Publifye AS runs a Meta app so that articles we publish can reach our own Facebook Page. If personal data of yours has reached us through Facebook Login or through that Page integration, this page is the route to have it deleted: the same request, the same 30 days.
If you have no Publifye account to sign in to, because Facebook is the only place you have met us, write to support@publifye.com from the address your Facebook account uses and say that the request concerns Facebook. We will verify who you are another way before we act, and we will tell you what that involves.
If you can no longer sign in, or your request concerns data that is not tied to any login at all, write to support@publifye.com and tell us so. We cannot take identity on trust in that case, so we may need to verify it another way before deleting anything. That is a protection for you, not an obstacle.
